MERCY CONFERENCE (October 27 in Fargo) Imagine the impact on our world if every congregation of the LCMS intentionally worked to develop a “culture of mercy!”  Here’s a start:  Join church leaders from across the region for Faith in Action, a one-of-its-kind mercy conference featuring Rev. Dr. Matthew Harrison, President of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod.  Sponsored by the Dakota Boys and Girls Ranch, the conference is designed to equip and energize caring Christians for service to people in need in the clear name of Jesus.  Learn and experience, first-hand, many of the ministries of mercy that are impacting our world right now.  There’s something for you!    Go to  Register  and reserve your spot today!

CREATION CONFERENCE  Lutheran Island camp is hosting a two-day conference on Creationism, called, “Uncovering the Truth About Creation”.  Did you know that the #1 reason that teenagers turn away from the faith that they had growing up... is their “conversions” to believing in Evolution (in high school and college)?  This conference is a wonderful opportunity for parents- and their (older) children- to know the scientific facts about Creationism... and the scientific problems with Evolution.  The registration cost is $70 (if you plan to stay at LIC) or $40 if you plan to commute.  For more information, you can go to:

Housing at LIC is limited, but there are some hotels located nearby.

MAIN STREET LIVING” is a locally produced TV program that includes a 30-minute worship service led by participating pastors of the North Dakota and Minnesota North Districts of our LCMS, along with a 30-minute children’s program called “Kid’s Crossing”.  These programs are not (yet) being broadcast on our local channels, but they are all archived on   If you know how to connect to the internet, you can watch all of this great content there.

  • BEGINNING SUNDAY OCTOBER 7th, re-mastered re-runs of the well-known “This Is The Life” TV show will be broadcast on Main Street Living! These will take the place of the current “Kid’s Corner” half hour programs which they have been showing following the Main Street Living worship services.  Please spread the word to your family and friends!
